Bangladesh Emerging Cricket team are seeking to bounce back in their 2nd match of the three-match one-day series against touring Sri Lankan Emerging Cricket team at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) in Savar on Wednesday, reports UNB.

Nazmul Hossain Shanto-led Bangladesh lost the first one-day match against Lankans by a huge margin of 186 runs outplaying in every departments with frustration of the young Tigers.

However, Simon Helmot, the Australian coach of the team, believes the junior Tigers have the ability to turn back in the series in the second game.

Acknowledging the disappointing application of junior Tigers' skill, Simon on Tuesday said, "The way we played in the first game was very poor. We've failed to live up to the expectation in the last 10 overs that cost our defeat."

"The target of 300 or more runs is not easy to chase every day, but it was chaseable in the wicket of BKSP. However, we don't want to ponder too much on the last game."

Expressing a conviction to do better in the next game, Simon said, "The boys are confident to flare up. We had a good discussion yesterday. Mashrafe (Bin Mortaza) was gracious to give his time to inspire the junior tigers."

The coach of junior Tigers believes, the demolishing defeat in the first game will not harm the confidence of the boys.
