Brazil envoy visits BFF office

Ambassador of Brazil in Bangladesh Joao Tabajara Oliveira Junior visited the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) office in Motijheel on Saturday noon and exchanged views with football organisers and players on the occasion of their campaign for the FIFA World Cup Russia '2018, reports UNB.

During the visit, the Brazilian Ambassador said he was very much impressed with football craze in the country and praised the role of large number of Brazilian supporters in Bangladesh and love for his country.

He said Brazil always stands by Bangladesh for the improvement of the game in the country.

BFF member Fazlur Rahman Babul, member cum former national captain Sheikh Mohammad Aslam, general secretary Abu Nayem Shohag, touring Brazilian journalists Mikael Fox, Clayton Conseryani and cultural section official of Brazil Embassy Igar Tavares were also present on the occasion.

The Brazil Embassy in Bangladesh took an initiative to make a documentary film on the Jubliliant supporters of Brazil in Bangladesh to telecast it all over the world.

Earlier, BFF general secretary received the Ambassador in the office with bouquet and honoured him with BFF crest.

Later, the Ambassador visited the Sonali Otit Club nearby BFF office in Motijheel and exchanged views with the former national footballers of Bangladesh.
