IU inter-department sports competition kicks off today

ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY, Jan 21 (UNB): An inter-department and inter-hall badminton, basketball and table tennis competitions will begin at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Tuesday.

IU vice-chancellor professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari will inaugurate the competition as the chief guest around 11 am, sources at IU physical education department office said on Monday.

IU Treasurer professor M Selim Toha will attend the programme as special guest while its Pro-VC and Professor M Shahinoor Rahman will preside over it.
