Pakistan U-16 cricket team due today to play against Bangladesh

The Pakistan Under-16 cricket team will arrive in the capital this (Friday) afternoon for a three-week tour of Bangladesh, reports UNB.

They will play two three-day and three one-day matches against their Bangladesh counterpart in Fatullah and Khulna.

Pakistan will start their campaign with a three-day match on April 29 at Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah. The second match will start at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna from May 05.

The tourists will play all the three one-day matches at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna on May 10, 12 and 15 before returning home on May 16.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced on Thursday a 15-member Under-16 team for the series.

Bangladesh U-16 Team: Rihad Khan (captain), Mahfuzur Rahman Rabbi (vice-captain), Mofizul Islam Robin, Sazzad Hossain Miraz, Sakib Shahriar, Rafsan Jani, Shohag Ali, Aich Mollah, Azizul Haque Rony, Tanvir Alam Ayon, Shamsul Islam Epon, Maksudur Rahman, Ashiqur Rahman, Shahriar Alam Mahim and Mushfiq Hasan

Seven stand-by cricketers are: Amir Hossain, Khalid Hasan, Minhajul Hasan, Arif Ahmed Anik, Sajib Ahmed, Nasim Islam and Tahjubul Islam.
