10 turnover leaders snare 33.6pc of total transaction

Top 10 turnover leaders Tuesday grabbed 33.6 per cent of the turnover featured by the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).

The premier bourse DSE featured a turnover of above Tk 10.91 billion and Lankabangla Finance topped the turnover.

The company witnessed increased participation ahead of spot and block transactions to be settled as per spot settlement cycle with the entitlement of rights shares from November, 22, 2017 to November 23, 2017.

Lankabangla Finance Tuesday featured a turnover of Tk 867 million and snared 7.9 per cent of the market turnover. The company's share price declined 0.44 per cent to close at Tk 67.60 per share.

AB Bank captured 4.5 per cent of the market turnover after featuring a turnover of Tk 491 million. The company's share trading closed at Tk 25.30 with a loss of 1.18 per cent or Tk 0.3.

Dhaka Bank witnessed a turnover of Tk 435 million and captured 4.0 per cent of the market turnover. The company's share trading closed at Tk 25.30 with a loss of 1.95 per cent.

Shahjalal Islami Bank captured 3.0 per cent of the market turnover with a transaction of Tk 331 million. The company's share price declined 4.31 per cent to close at Tk 33.60 per share.

FAS Finance & Investment had a turnover of Tk 295 million and accounted for 2.7 per cent of the market turnover. The company's share trading closed at Tk 24.30 with a rise of 2.51 per cent.

The turnover of City Bank was Tk 271 million and the company accounted for 2.5 per cent of the market turnover. The company's share price declined 2.12 per cent to close at Tk 55.60.

The share trading of Bd. Thai Aluminium closed at Tk 28.90 with a rise of 6.18 per cent per share. The company featured a turnover of Tk 267 million and captured 2.5 per cent of the market turnover.

Grameenphone featured a turnover of Tk 262 million and captured 2.4 per cent of the market turnover. The company's share price declined 1.42 per cent to close at Tk 473.40.

Square Pharmaceuticals witnessed a turnover of Tk 227 million and captured 2.1 per cent of the market transaction. The company's share price declined 1.87 per cent to close at Tk 305.

BRAC Bank captured 2.0 per cent of the market turnover with its own turnover of Tk 217 million. The company's share price declined 1.50 per cent to close at Tk 105.60.
