CFA Society Bangladesh, the local member society of CFA Institute, has awarded eleven local investment professionals.
The local investment professionals have received the prestigious CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) award on Tuesday at a city Hotel, according to a release.
Mr. Paul Smith, CFA, President and CEO, CFA Institute, graced the fourth annual CFA Charter Award Ceremony as the chief guest and distributed the charter certificates among the new charter holders.
He praised the potential of Bangladesh financial market and appreciated the new charter holders as the future financial leaders of the country.
Dr. Ahsan H. Mansur, executive director at Policy Research Institute of Bangladesh, Mr. Lutfey Siddiqi, CFA, adjunct professor at National University of Singapore and Mr. Shahidul Islam, CFA, the president of CFA Society Bangladesh, spoke on the occasion.
The award recipients are: Anisa Amir Ali (Constellation Asset Management Company), Mahmudur Rahman (Standard Chartered), Md Rezwanur Rahman (United Securities), Md Yousuf Ali (BRAC Bank), Minhazur Rahman (Maslin Capital), Mohammad Nazmul Hasan Tipu (LankaBangla Finance), Muqit Al Rahman (International Finance Corporation), Nahiyan Nasir (PricewaterhouseCoopers Bangladesh), S M Mudrahir Rahaman (Standard Chartered), Shajia Meraj (HSBC) and Waseem Alim (Chaldal).
