BRAC Bank signs deal with BIBM

BRAC Bank Limited recently signed a partnership agreement with Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM), said a statement.

Ms. Bilquis Jahan, Head of Human Resources, BRAC Bank, and Dr. Shah Md. Ahsan Habib, Professor & Director (Training), BIBM, signed the agreement on behalf of their organisations.

Mr. Selim R. F. Hussain, Managing Director & CEO, BRAC Bank Limited, Dr. Toufic Ahmad Choudhury, Director General, BIBM, Mr. A. K. Joaddar, Deputy Managing Director & CFO, Mr. Chowdhury Akhtar Asif, Deputy Managing Director & CRO, Mr. Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Head of Corporate Banking, Mr. Muniruzzaman Molla, Head of Operations, Zara Jabeen Mahbub, Head of Communications, Mr. Md. Jabedul Alam, Head of Trade Development and other senior officials of the bank were present at the ceremony held at BRAC Bank Head Office.

Under the agreement, BRAC Bank will partner the key banking publications of BIBM. The publications are -- Trade Services of Banks in Bangladesh (A Compilation of Selected Studies by BIBM), Green Banking in Bangladesh (Environmental Risk Management in Banking), Banking Review Series (A Compilation of the Review of Banking Activities every year), Proceedings of annual banking conference (An Annual Publication), Trade Services & Operations for Bankers, Traders & Credit Services and Operations for Bankers & Businesses.

BIBM is the key organization which is continuously working to upgrade skills and capacity development of banks and financial institutions to ensure sustainable improvement of the industry.

Sponsoring to above publications is in line with BRAC Bank's one of the core values to invest for capacity development.
