DU hosts training on petroleum

With a view to enhancing professional skills to develop energy sector in the country, Dhaka University (DU) has hosted a training programme on 'Petroleum Geo-science Skills Development', reports BSS.

Department of Geology of DU in collaboration with Green Power Limited and Dimension Strata Company Limited of Brunei jointly organised the daylong petroleum training programme at Prof MA Latif Auditorium of Geology Department. Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman, High Commissioner of Brunei to Bangladesh Haji Haris bin Haji Othman addressed the programme, among others.
