Managing Director and CEO of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited Md. Mahbub-ul-Alam and other officials of the bank placing a wreath at the Bangabandhu's portrait in Dhanmondi 32 on Wednesday Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) observed the 43rd martyrdom anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day on Wednesday, according to a statement.
The day's programme included placing wreaths at the Bangabandhu's portrait in Dhanmondi 32.
Dr. Md. Zillur Rahman, chairman of audit committee, Prof. Dr. Md. Sirajul Karim, Md. Joynal Abedin, Professor Dr. Kazi Shahidul Alam and Syed Abu Asad, directors, Md. Mahbub-ul-Alam, managing director and CEO, top executives, officers and employees of the bank were present on the occasion.
Besides, 338 branches and 16 zone offices of the bank organised discussion and a prayer session observing the National Mourning Day.
