Member (Law) Borhan Uddin Ahmed and Director of Insurance Development & Regulatory Authority (IDRA) Dr. Md. Bashirul Alam handing over a cheque to a recipient at a programme held at "Dream Holiday Park," in Narsinghdi recently Meghna Life Insurance Company Limited organised a gathering of about 800 people at "Dream Holiday Park," in Narsinghdi recently where 1,822 cheques worth Tk 80 million were handed over to policy holders against insurance claims, according to a statement.
Borhan Uddin Ahmed, member (Law), and Dr. Md. Bashirul Alam, director of Insurance Development & Regulatory Authority (IDRA), were present on the occasion as chief and special guests respectively.
Among others, Nizam Uddin Ahmed, Chairman, and N.C. Rudra, MD/CEO of Meghna Life Insurance Co. Ltd, were present.
Development officers from Sylhet, Comilla, Rajshahi, Bogra and Dhaka participated in the meeting.
The chief guest advised all to work ethically as well as to uphold image of insurance industry in the society.
