Premier Bank gets new DMD

The Premier Bank Limited has recently appointed Md Nazimuddoula as its Deputy Managing Director and Chief Human Resources Officer. Prior to his new assignment, Mr Nazimuddoula served at Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited and led a number of functional divisions. He has 31 years of versatile banking experience in diversified discipline in the field of banking. Mr Nazimuddoula completed post-graduation degree with honors in English from Jahangirnagar University. He started his career in Bangladesh Shilpa Bank (presently BDBL) as a Probationary Officer in 1987 and subsequently served in Southeast Bank Ltd, International Finance Investment & Commerce Bank Limited (IFIC) and Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited. — Statement

SBAC Bank re-elects its chairman

SM Amzad Hossain has been re-elected chairman of the board of directors of South Bangla Agriculture and Commerce (SBAC) Bank Ltd. at the bank's 87th board meeting held on Sunday. He has been serving as the founding chairman of the bank since 2013. SM Amzad Hossain is also the chairman of Lockpur Group of Industries. He is successfully running a business conglomerate with diverse interests in seafood, shrimp processing, printing & packaging, ceramic, jute, brick field, shipping etc. Amzad Hossain was a director of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the president of Bangladesh Frozen Foods Exporters Association.
