New head of retail banking of StanChart
Sabbir Ahmed has recently been appointed Head, Retail Banking, Standard Chartered Bangladesh. Prior to joining Standard Chartered, he was the Country Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management in HSBC Vietnam. In his career spanning over 22 years, Sabbir Ahmed has acquired extensive experience within the banking industry in Retail, Priority, SME and Branch Banking as well as Wealth Management and Channel Management. Sabbir had earlier been with Standard Chartered Bangladesh for 16 years (from 1997 to 2014), where his key achievements include significant expansion of Standard Chartered's distribution network through manned electronic banking centers, leading the transformation of the Client Centre and enhancing the branch service experience by optimizing service delivery channels. — Statement
