About 1.4 million people downloaded bKash mobile apps and 14,000 of them gave feedbacks in just 20 days after it was submitted to Google Play store on April 25.

Kamal Quadir, chief executive officer of bKash, and Mir Nawbut Ali, chief marketing officer of bKash, among others, attended the function at a city hotel.
Speaking on the occasion, Kamal Quadir said a team of highly efficient and knowledgeable persons worked on the mobile app for 18 months to make it world-class, easier, faster and safer for all.
bKash introduced the app with the goal of ensuring financial inclusion of general people who are currently outside of banking system, he said.
Besides, bKash provides convenient and easy ways to make payments and money transfer services via mobile phones to both the unbanked and the banked people of Bangladesh, Quadir said.
People who are now using smart phones can use this app to make effective cashless transactions, he added.
In the last few years, all the customers who are using feature phones and have been outside the internet facility were taking various services of bKash like the USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) system, the CEO said.
Mir Nawbut Ali made a presentation on the application of the app.
Various features like 'Send money', 'buy airtime', 'cash out', 'make payment' and 'request money' are available in the bKash app. Except 'Collect remittances', all other services that one use through bKash USSD channel are also available in the app.
