The first ever apparel tech expo is going to take place in Dhaka and Chattogram on February 26 and February 28 respectively to showcase the importance of using technology in data management, reports BSS.
Coats Global Services, a software solution provider to apparel and footwear, will host the expo, said a press release.
Apparel Tech Up is a series of events aimed to initiate a discussion on the value of technology for the apparel and footwear manufacturing space.
The Bangladesh event will highlight the importance of data analytics and how accurate data management can impact the apparel manufacturing.
Managing Director of Coats Bangladesh Tram Anh Tran said a forum to discuss the advancements in apparel technology is perfectly a time befitting for the markets getting continually more competitive.
The event will be attended by top RMG manufacturers from Dhaka and Chittagong.
Apparel Tech Up will host key note speeches from the international members of the Coats Global Services team.
The event would also include panel discussions that involve all important stakeholders of the Bangladesh RMG industry including brands, tech providers and manufacturers.
