BRAC Univ Career Fair begins

The BRAC University Career Fair-2018 kicked off on the university campus in the city on Monday, aiming to establish a bridge between fresh graduates and alumni and the corporate world.

With the theme 'Campus to Corporate', the two-day fair organised by the university will promote the hiring and networking process.

Organisers also hoped that such initiatives will help remove barriers to getting jobs for fresh graduates.

A total of 35 corporate organisations are taking part in the fair.

At the fair, students of the university will have an opportunity to interact with these organisations and prepare themselves for the corporate world, the organisers said.

Acting vice-chancellor of BRAC university SN Kairy inaugurated the event as the chief guest. CEO and founder of Pathao Hussain Mohammad Elius was present as special guest.

The fair will remain open from 10:00am to 5:00pm at the BRAC University auditorium (Building-2) today (Tuesday).
