'Jhatpot' offers healthy foods at DITF

Local frozen food brand 'Jhatpot' has set up a stall at the venue of Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) with the aim to offer healthy foods at lower prices for the visitors.

At the general pavilion No 12, Jhatpot is serving to the customers chicken biryani, paratha, singara, samosa, spring roll, chicken nugget, chicken sausages, tandoori nan, puri, popcorn, French fries and other delicious foods, says a statement.

It is offering the foods at Tk 10-120 discount prices.

Brand Manager of Jhatpot Anisul Islam said people go to restaurants for purchasing tasty food like paratha, singara, samosa and chicken nugget. But the trend is changing day by day, he said.

"The readymade food products are now available in a packet," he said.

"We are offering healthy chicken biryani only at Tk 150," he added.

Marketing Director of PRAN-RFL Group Kamruzzaman Kamal said: "We are getting good response from the customers. Jhatpot is doing well not only in local market but also in other countries including United States, Australia, UK, Italy, New Zealand and Singapore."
