Managing Director of Metrocem Cement Ltd Muhammad Shahid Ullaah unveiled the new bag of Metrocem cement during the event at Hotel Cox in Cox's Bazar on Saturday.
Launching the product, 'Metrocem Special', Shahid Ullaah said the company is always committed to offer quality construction materials at the consumers level.
The new product is more effective in building stronger beam, column and ceiling, the statement said.
Metrocem Directors M Asad Ullah and M Rafiq Ullaah, general managers Mobarak Ali Bhuiyan and Shamim Hasan, deputy general managers Syed Iftekhar Ali and M Abu Bakar Siqqique were present at the ceremony.
Shahid Ullaah expressed his hope that the new products will further boost the country's construction sector.
He also handed over crests to three dealers and three network partners for their contribution to the industry during the Metrocem campaign titled 'Cholo na Ghure Ashi' that was conducted across the country recently.
