New Swedish medicines in Bangladesh

AstraZeneca, a leading biopharmaceutical company of Swedish-British origin, announced its partnership with MGH Healthcare Ltd to provide reliable access to AstraZeneca medicines in Bangladesh.

The panel session on 'Driving access to innovative medicines to improve patient outcomes in Bangladesh', was hosted by Business Sweden at a city hotel on Thursday.

Swedish Ambassador Charlotta Schlyter and British High Commissioner Robert Chatterton Dickson spoke on the potential for further healthcare cooperation with Bangladesh.

AstraZeneca and MGH Healthcare will increase awareness among physicians and patients about the science behind innovative treatments and will increase access to innovative treatments to make a difference to patients in Bangladesh.

"AstraZeneca and MGH Healthcare Limited aim to achieve our shared ambition to make our science accessible as it will help deliver innovative treatments to all patients who need it," said Nitin Kapoor, Company President AstraZeneca.

Founder and group CEO of MGH Anis Ahmed said, "Through our valued partnership with AstraZeneca, we aim to serve and provide access to right medicines and offer best care to our Bangladesh patients."
