Citi donates blankets to Prothom Alo Trust

In response to the recent cold wave, Citibank, N.A., Bangladesh has donated blankets and mosquito nets to Prothom Alo Trust. The blankets will be distributed among the needy in the western/ northern districts of the country including Kurigram; Chapai Nawabganj, Jhenaidah, Chuadanga, Sherpur, Patuakhali, Narail, Lalmonirhat, Rangpur and Nilphamari. N. Rajashekaran, Managing Director andCiti Country Officer-Bangladesh officially handed over blankets to Matiur Rahman,Editor of The Daily Prothom Alo to support their countrywide relief effort.— Statement

Samsung offers at DITF pavilion

Marking the Dhaka International Trade Fair, Samsung Bangladesh announced exciting offers alongside 'Wishful New year Campaign 2019'. These offers include free gifts like rice cooker, washing machine, microwave oven, vacuum cleaners and selected models of TV when customers buy products from Samsung' Premier Pavilion number 16 at DITF. At the same time, Samsung Mobile will be offering up to 55 per cent discount in the fair for some specific models. Including Galaxy A8+ the entire range of Samsung mobiles will also have special discounts for DITF. Shahriar Bin Lutfor, Head of Consumer Electronics at Samsung Bangladesh said, "DITF is an excellent platform to interact with customers and showcase our technology to them.
