PUMA, one of the world's leading sports brands, made its entry into the Bangladesh market with the launching of its first flagship store at Banani in the capital recently.
The Banani outlet is one of the brand's biggest stores in South and South-East Asia, said a statement.
The outlet showcases the widest array of the brand's latest performance and sport-style products.
High officials of PUMA India, DBL Group, star cricket players and distinguished personalities of Bangladesh were present at the Banani outlet opening ceremony.
Expressing his reaction, Bangladesh national cricket team's wicketkeeper-cum-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim said: "I can't wait to check out the store and hope we see many more PUMA stores in Bangladesh in the near future."
Talking about the launching of the outlet, PUMA India's Managing Director Abhishek Ganguly said that they are excited to establish the brand's flagship store in Bangladesh.
"We aim to promote the growth of sport in this nation, supported by our unmatched equipment and gear," said Ganguly.
Managing Director of DBL Group M. A. Jabbar said: "Through our iconic flagship store we are looking at bringing the best of PUMA experiences and product to our consumers."
