Robi gets 1.0m 4G subscribers

Robi, a mobile phone operator, has recently reached the milestone of 1.0 million 4G subscribers within the first quarter of this year, reports UNB.

By this time, Robi has also expanded its 4.5G network to 425 thanas with more than 4,000 sites.

With the launching of 4G network on February 20, Robi spread the service in all 64 districts of the country.

Robi's Managing Director and CEO Mahtab Uddin Ahmed said Robi has become the first mobile phone operator in the country to reach the milestone of 1.0 million subscribers by the end of first quarter of this year.
