Shahadat new DMD of Padma Bank

Md. Shahadat Hossain recently joined Padma Bank Limited as Deputy Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO), said a statement.

Mr. Hossain is a professional with long experience in financial services sector (Prime Bank, Dhaka Bank, Eastern Bank & Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank) and also in IT sector.

Prior to joining the Padma Bank, he worked for Prime Bank as a Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Business Process Re-engineering & IT Service and Support.

He completed his B.Sc in Engineering from BUET and also obtained MBM (Masters in Bank Management) & PGDCAP (Post Graduation Diploma in Computer Applications Programme) from Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM).

Mr. Hossain is reputed for establishing and running centralised business operation, directly managing implementation and operation of core banking solutions, streamlining business process, digitization of business process and many other vast experiences in key areas of bank.
