England football fans could spend as much as £30million to try to cheer the team to the World Cup final, as manager Gareth Southgate prepares to name an unchanged line-up against Croatia, reports https://www.telegraph.co.uk.

The Football Association are expecting an influx of 10,000 England fans into Moscow for Wednesday night's semi-final clash against Croatia.

Tickets for the game were still available for around £650 on the internet, although that figure will continue to rise as the match approaches.

Together with flights and accommodation, some supporters face a bill of about £3,000 to watch England try to clinch a place in the final.

England have not had more than 3,000 at any of their World Cup games so far and were heavily outnumbered by Colombians during their last-16 encounter, but that will change this week.

The England fans who can afford to make the last-minute dash to Moscow are set to find unlikely allies when they arrive in Russia.

Russian officials now expect any local fans inside the Luzhniki Stadium on Wednesday night to throw their support behind England, meaning Southgate's men could enjoy greater backing than their opponents.
