‘Dance speaks of human feelings, cultural identity’

RANGPUR, May 2 (BSS): Speakers, including cultural personalities here have said dance always speaks of human feelings as well as life and living with love, affection, arts, devotion, emotion and cultural identity of any nation.

They were addressing a discussion meet arranged in observance of the International Dance Day-2015 by divisional unit of Bangladesh Nrittya Shilpi Sangstha (BNSS) through day-long programmes Wednesday on the Central Shaheed Minar premises in the city.

The BNSS with the assistance of Rangpur Sound Touch, Rangpur Nrittya Sangstha, Rangpur Nrittya Academy, Rinijhini Nrittya Academy and other dance organisations chalked out elaborate programmes.

The programmes included colourful rallies, receptions to the dance artists, presentation of different dances, cultural functions, distribution of prizes among the dance artists and other activities befitting to the occasion.
