11 killed in road accidents

SUNAMGANJ, Mar 20 (BSS): Four persons including two minor boys were killed and 17 others injured in a road accident on Sunamganj-Sylhet highway at Sadarpur under Dakhin Sunamganj upazila Monday.
The young victims were identified as Masum, 10, and Russal, 12 and the drivers- Samir Uddin, 35, and Mizanur Rahman, 25 died on way to hospital.
BSS reports from Narail: Three persons, including a woman, were killed and 20 injured, two of them in critical condition, in a road accident near Tilsara Dusar Bridge on Narail-Gopalganj Road under Kashiani Upzila of the district Tuesday morning.
The victims were going to Gopalganj to join a Hindu religious festival there.
Twenty injured persons of both the vehicles were admitted to Narail Sadar Hospital and local clinics.
Police said the victims' identity could not be ascertained immediately.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Narail sadar thana Mohammad Rafiqul Islam told the reporters that bodies were sent to Narail Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
UNB reports from Gopalganj: Three Hindu devotees were killed and 10 others injured in a head-on collision between two pick-ups carrying them at Tilchhara on Narail-Gopalganj road in Kashiani upazila Tuesday morning.
The deceased are yet to be identified.
The injured were admitted to Kashiani upazila health complex and Narail Sadar Hospital.
The accident took place when a group of Hindu devotees was returning from Sri Sri Horichand Thakur's fair at Orakandi after performing 'Mahabaruni Snan', a holy bath, while the other group was going to the fair.
Another report from Noakhali says: A minor by was killed as a bus rammed him at Goda Masjid on Maijdi-Sonapur road in sadar upazila this Tuesday morning.
The victim was identified as Main Uddin, 7, son of Md Alauddin of Harinayan Purba area of the town.
Angered at the fatal accident, local people blocked the road for three hours by placing barricade on it and vandalized three passing vehicles.
On information, police rushed to the spot and controlled the situation.
