12th death anniv of journo Kalikinkor Montu today

JHENIDAH, May 14: Today (Friday) is the 12th death anniversary of journalist and advocate Kalikinkor Biswas Montu of Jhenidah, who worked as a correspondent in Daily Ittefaq and a staff reporter in Daily Sambad. Besides, he edited local newspapers Janomat and Naboganga.

Kalikingkor was born at Chapri village of Porahati union under Sadar upazila in Jehnidah on August 6, 1942 and died on May 15, 2003 of cancer. He was awarded (posthumous) Khulna Divisional Press Club Federation (KDPCF) medal 2012.
