2 die falling from bus in Naogaon

NAOGAON, Jun 21 (BSS): Two persons were killed and another was injured as the three fell from the rooftop of a running bus at Chalkmoiram crossing on the Dhamoirhat-Joypurhat Road under Dhamoirhat upazila of the district last night.

The deceased were Sailen Murmu, 24, son of Ram Murmu and Sanjid Hemram, 16, son of Golam Hemram of Birgram village of the upazila.

Police said the three passengers fell down from the bus while returning home from Gaibandha after attending a bridal party.

Sailen died on the spot. Critically injured Sanjid and Sarup Lal were taken to a local hospital where Sanjid succumbed to his injuries this morning.
