MADARIPUR, Aug 25 (BSS): A businessman was electrocuted at Khagdi village under Sadar upazila of Madaripur Monday noon.
The victim was Moazzem Mridha, 56, of Purba Ghatmajhi village of the upazila.
Police said Moazzem died on the spot as he came in contact with a live electric wire while repairing electric line of his shop.
UNB reports from Pabna: A madrasha student died from electrocution in Ataikula upazila in the district on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Shamim, 11, son of Sobhan, hailing from Kacarpur village and a student of class-V student of a local madrasha.
