2 found dead in districts

SHERPUR, Nov 10 (UNB): Police recovered the body of an unidentified old woman from a paddy field at Kapashia village in Nalitabari Upazila on Sunday afternoon.

Local people spotted the body on a canal at the Changtola paddy field of the village in the afternoon.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Nokla Police Station sub-inspector Ruhul Amin confirmed the incident.

Another report from Benapole says: Police recovered the body of an unidentified youth in a sack from a paddy field at Balunda village in Benapole port thana on Sunday.

Quoting locals, police said local people found a sack in the field in the morning and found the body of the youth in it.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Jessore Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy.

Officer-in-charge of Benapole Port Police Station Rafiqul Islam confirmed the incident.

A case was filed in this connection.
