PABNA, Jan 15: Two people were killed and four others injured in a road accident at Kuladi on Pabna-Sujanagar road under Sujanagar Upazila in Pabna today morning.
One of the deceased was identified as Surobir Hossain (38), son of Shahajan Ali of Hemayetpur village in Pabna sadar Upazila.
Police and witnesses said the accident took place at around 8.00am today (Thursday) when a speeding sand loaded truck collided head on with a CNG carrying five people from opposite direction, leaving one person dead on the spot and four others injured.
Four of the injured were admitted to Pabna Medical College Hospital. Among the injured, one unidentified person succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
