NARSINGDI, Apr 27 (UNB): Two bothers, who were injured in an attack by their rivals over land dispute at Morjan village in Raipura upazila on Friday, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Saturday night.
The deceased were identified as Abdul Halim,38 and Juj Miah,30-sons of Haji Ekbor Ali.
Witnesses said Ekbor Ali had a long standing enmity with Suruj Miah over a piece of land.
During an arbitration over the dispute on Friday morning, Suruj Ali, his five sons and some other people attacked Ekbor's two son-Halim and Juj Miah-with sharp weapons, leaving them critically injured.
They were taken to district hospital first and then shifted to DMCH where they succumbed to their injuries on Saturday night.
