3-day agri technology fair begins in Gopalganj

GOPALGANJ, Apr 27: A 3-day Agriculture Technology Fair-2015 has begun at Shilpakala Academy premises in Gopalganj city today (Monday).

Agriculture Information Service, Gopalganj organised the fair in collaboration with Agriculture Extension Department, Gopalganj, to continue till April 29. As many as 21 stalls were set up in the fair showing agricultural products and using of modern artistic skill on agri sector.

Md. Khalilur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner (DC), Gopalganj and Md. Mizanaur Rahman, Superintendent of Police (SP) and Atul Krishna Mollik, Deputy Director (DD), Agriculture, Gopalganj were present as the chief and special guests respectively.

Md. Lutfar Rahman Bachchu, Upazila Chairman, Gopalganj Sadar presided over the ceremony.

Earlier Md. Arifur Rahman, District Agriculture Information and Communication Officer, Agriculture Information Service, Gopalganj, delivered the welcome speech. After the rally a discussion meeting was held at Shilpakala Academy premises. Haralal Madhu, District Training Officer, Agriculture Extension Department, Gopalganj, Dr. Ataur Rahman, District Livestock Officer, Gopalganj, Moazzem Hossain, Upazila Agriculture Officer, Gopalganj Sadar spoke in the inaugurated session.
