3-day music festival ends in Nilphamari

NILPHAMARI, Jun 2: A 3-day long music festival of Rangpur division ended in Nilphamari Sunday. Different cultural organisations of 8 districts of the division participated in the festival. Held in the local Silpakala Academy, the festival was opened by Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor.

The aim of the festival was to enhance cultural activities in the division which would provide amusement and recreation as well as create secular and enlightened people of the country. Artistes of Rangpur, Lalmonirhat, Gaibandha, Kurigram, Nilphamari, Dinajpur, Thakurgon and Panchagrh districts participated in the festival.
