3-day women and development fair begins at BRUR

RANGPUR, Apr 9: A three-day long Women and Development Fair 2014 has begun here at Begum Rokeya University (BRUR) ground in Rangpur city on Tuesday morning.
United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Begum Rokeya University have jointly organised the fair.
State Minister for women and children affairs Meher Afroz Chumki formally inaugurated the fair as the chief guest.  
Presided over by VC of Rokeya University Dr. AKM Nur-un-Nabi Rangpur City Corporation (RCC) Mayor Sharfuddin Ahmed Jhantu, USAID Mission Director to Bangladesh Janina Jaruzelski, lawmaker HN Ashiqur Rahman MP addressed the meeting.
A total of 70 stalls of various development organisations from home and abroad have been set up in the fair.
