4-day agriculture fair begins in Gopalganj

GOPALGANJ, Feb 18: A four-day long agriculture fair-2014 began at Shilpakala Academy premises in Gopalganj Monday.

The fair was organised by combined agriculture development project Pirojpur-Gopalganj-Bagherhat and Department of Agriculture Extension  (DAE), Goapalganj.

Md. Khalilur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner (DC), Goapalganj inaugurated the fair as chief guest.  As many as 17 stalls of agriculture products were set up in the fair by different organisations.

Ashit Kumar Saha, Deputy Director (DD) Agriculture, Gopalganj presided the chair.
