4 of a family suffer burn injuries

MOULVIBAZAR, Dec 30 (UNB): Four members of family suffered injuries in a fire which broke out at Ghorakhal village in Sadar upazila early Monday.

The injured were identified as Tahir, 60, Rimon, 50, Sumon, 27, and Joynal, 30.

Locals said the fire originated from an electric short circuit at the house Rimon around 5am and it soon engulfed the entire house.

On information, a firefighting unit rushed in and doused the blaze, said ATM Hasan Mahmud, an officer at the Moulvibazar Fire Service Station. The injured were admitted to Sadar Hospital.
