5 arrested with Yaba, ganja in Rangpur

RANGPUR, Feb 19 (BSS): A mobile court and police in separate raids seized huge quantity of contraband Yaba tablets and ganja and arrested five drug traders from different places Rangpur Wednesday evening, police sources said.

A mobile court led by Executive Magistrate Ashraful Siddik seized 1,034 pieces of contraband Yaba tablets and arrested four persons from the house of one Masud Rana Titu in Honumantola area in the city last evening.

On the other hand, Kawnia Thana police conducted a sudden raid at Mirbag bus stand on the Kurigram-Rangpur highway under Kawnia upazila and challenged a Dhaka bound Fahim Mitali Coach from Kurigram there.
