50th anniversary of BTV observed in Faridpur

FARIDPUR, Dec 31 (BSS): The 50th anniversary of the state owned TV channel Bangladesh Television (BTV) was observed here today in a befitting manner.

In this connection BTV authority in cooperation with the local district administration chalked out a programme to observe the anniversary of the first Bangla channel of this region.

A colourful rally after releasing baloons was brought out in the town from press club premises consisting journalists, politicians and high officials that terminated on the office premises of DC of Faridpur. DC Sardar Sharafat Ali participated in the rally.
