80 new workers join Syedpur rly workshop

NILPHAMARI, Aug 18: To overcome acute manpower shortage Syedpur railway workshop appointed 80 labourers on temporary basis. They were appointed for only 6 months on an emolument of Tk 150 per day. They will work in 11 shops of the workshop. Out of 80 labourers five of them are women.
Railway workshop sources said out of the need of 370 labourers the workshop has only 26. Sources added there is a restriction for the recruitment of permanent labourer and other employees.
