A BSS report says: Mayor of Rangpur City Corporation (RCC) and valiant freedom fighter Alhaj Sarfuddin Ahmed Jhantu asked the students for devoting themselves to studies in acquiring proper knowledge to lead the nation in future.
He was addressing a ceremony arranged for bidding farewell to the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinees of Mahiganj Girls' High School and College in the city on Wednesday afternoon as the chief guest.
With Principal of Mahiganj Girls' High School and College Jahanara Begum in the chair, RCC Councilors Mokhtar Hossain (Ward No-29) and Sultan Ahmed (Ward No-33) addressed the ceremony as special guests.
