Agri-dev cards distribution begins in Joypurhat

JOYPURHAT, Sept 1 (BSS): The Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) has started distribution of agriculture development assistance cards (Krishi Upokoron Shahayak Card) among 2,28,458 farmers of five upazilas in the district.

The card holders would get seeds and fertilizers free of cost and fuel like diesel under subsidy, DAE office source said.

Of the total cards, 65,270 are being distributed in Sadar upazila, 55,170 in Panchbibi upazila, 38,590 in Akkelpur upazila, 40,438 in Kalai upazila and 28,990 in Khetlal upazila.
