Airtel introduces 3G service in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI, Mar 24: The 3G service of Airtel was introduced through a colourful function in Rajshahi Sunday.
State Minister for Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology Junaed Ahmed Palak MP formally inaugurated the service of 3G in Rajshahi as the chief guest through video conferencing with Chris Tobit, CEO and Managing Director of Airtel Bangladesh Limited in Dhaka.
In his inaugural speech State Minister Junaed Ahmed Palak said, he was glad at the introduction of 3G service in Rajshahi and hoped the service would create more opportunities in the development of telecommunication service in the country.
Chris Tobit said he was glad to introduce 3G service in Rajshahi and assured a world quality service for the customers in Rajshahi.
Among others, the inaugural function of Airtel 3G service was attended by Additional Commissioner of RMP Sarder Tamijuddin Ahmed, Chief Operating Officer of Airtel BD Limited Rajnsh Kaol, Chief Service Officer of Airtel BD Limited Rubaba Dowla, Chief Technical Officer Sandpon Chakravorty and Chief Information Officer Lutfor Rahman.
