All set to observe Int\\\'l Women\\\'s Day in Rangpur

RANGPUR, Mar 3 (BSS): All preparations have been completed to observe the International Women's Day-2015 through elaborate programmes in all eight districts under Rangpur division on March 8 (Sunday).

The district and upazila administrations, District Information Offices, Department of Women Affairs, Social Service Department, Shishu Academy and Mohila Parishad have chalked out the programmes in observance of the Day.

Different donor agencies, NGOs, CARE Bangladesh, RDRS Bangladesh, Pollishree, Karmojibi Nari, Amrai Pari Paribarik Nirjaton Protirodh Jyote, Social Equity for Effective Development and many other organisations have taken programmes.

Besides, Rangpur unit of Begum Rokeya Forum, sociocultural and voluntary organisations, professional bodies, women and human rights organisations, educational institutions have also chalked out programmes in observance of the Day.

The observance will begin with colourful rallies to be participated by hundreds of women, girls, adolescents and students, officials, sociocultural and NGO activists to be followed by seminars, advocacy meetings, discussions and cultural functions.
