Angry mob kill dacoit at Chatkhil

NOAKHALI, Apr 25 (BSS): A dacoit was killed by mob beating at Paschim-Badolkot village of Badolcoat union under Chatkhil upazila of the district last night.

The deceased was identified as Babul Mia, 45, son of Sultan Mia of Porkot village under Dashghoria union of the upazila.

Local people beat Babul to death on the spot as he came out in the locality last night after one year from his hideout, said officer-in-Charge of Chatkhil thana Nasim Uddin. On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Noakhali Abdul Malek Ukil Medical College Hospital morgue.
