Annual police sports held in Gopalganj

GOPALGANJ, Mar 2: The annual sports of the district police was held amidst enthusiasm at new police line ground Saturday.

About 100 police personnel from five thanas of the district participated in 18 events of competitions. S.M. Mahfuzul Haque Nooruzzaman, DIG, Dhaka range, Bangladesh police and Mrs. Hadisa Begum gave away the prizes to the winners as the chief and special guest.

The events of competitions included 100 meter sprint high jump, long jump, dress as you like, pillow throwing, musical chair etc. Md. Mizanur Rahman, S.P, Gopalganj presided over the function.

Later police administration, Gopalganj arranged an attractive cultural function on the occasion.
