Ansar, VDP play vital role in national uplift

RANGPUR, Sept 28 (BSS): Members of the country's biggest voluntary organisation Ansar-VDP have been playing vital role in accelerating the pace of national uplift along with establishing peace in the society through curbing crimes, speakers at a training course here on Saturday said.
They were addressing concluding ceremony of a 5-week technical training course for the 18 to 35 year age group female Ansar-VDP members on 'Repairing and maintenance of mobile phone sets' at Mahiganj Regional Vocational Training Centre in the city.
Twenty-four female Ansar-VDP members from Rangpur, Dinajpur, Thakurgaon, Panchagarh, Naogaon and Chapainawabganj districts participated in the course to enhance their skills and expertise on mobile phone repairing and maintenance.
Rangpur Divisional Range Director of Ansar-VDP Dulal Chandra Sarker attended the concluding ceremony of the training course and distributed certificates among the trainees as the chief guest with its Camp Commanding Officer and District Commander Mahbubur Rahman in the chair.
District Ansar-VDP Commander Mahbubur Rahman, Sadar Upazila Ansar-VDP Officer Sheikh Mahfuzur Rahman, organisational resource persons Akmal Hosain Shimu and Mishnur Islam conducted different sessions of the training course as Technical Trainers.
Speakers in the concluding ceremony said that education is the backbone of any nation and acquiring knowledge with skill through various trainings is the key to achieve socioeconomic success by any person as well as community people or nation as whole.
The Ansar-VDP members have been contributing effectively in building congenial atmosphere to accelerate rural uplift through creating public awareness on various social and economic issues side by side curbing crimes.
In his speech, the chief guest said the Ansar-VDP members have already become the prime driving force in building a middle income digital Bangladesh through contributing their maximum to enhance socioeconomic uplift by realizing the Vision 2021 as envisioned by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
