Anti-Corruption Week begins in Gopalganj

GOPALGANJ, Mar 31: The seven-day Anti-Corruption Week-2015 began in Gopalganj to create awareness against corruption among the people.

Gopalganj District Corruption Prevention Committee organised the programme. Rally, discussion meeting, art competition, cultural function and display on anti-corruption were included in the programme. A colourful rally, brought out on Tuesday morning, paraded main roads in the town. After the rally a discussion meeting was held at DC office Conference Room in the town. Md. Enamul Kabir, President, District Anti-Corruption Prevention Committee, Gopalganj District presided over the meeting. Md. Khalilur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner (DC) and Rejaul Haque Sikder Raju, Chairman, Gopalganj Paurashava were present as the chief and special guest respectively.

Among others, Md. Morshadayan Nissan, General Secretary, Anti-Corruption Prevention Committee, Gopalganj District Unit and Ehsanul Kamran (Tanvir), Assistant Director, Anti-Corruption Commission were present at the meeting.
