Auto-rickshaw driver found dead in Gazipur forest

GAZIPUR, Dec 11 (UNB): Police recovered the body of a 25-year-old auto-rickshaw driver from a forest in Sreepur upazila of Gazipur district early Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Md Hridoy, son of late Sujon Miah in Hatikhola village under Gafargaon upazila of Mymensingh district. He used to live at a rented house in Bagmara village under Sreepur municipality.

Sreepur police station's Officer-in-Charge (OC) AFM Nasim said they recovered the body from the forest near Kornapur Seatpara Connecting Road in Gosingha union around 12:45 am.

Legal action will be taken in this regard, added the OC.
