BARI female scientists given 9 motorcycles

GAZIPUR, Dec 23: Nine female scientists of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) in Gazipur received 9 motorcycles to attend their research field regularly and communicate easily with different departments for their research activities.

Director General (DG) of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) Dr Rafikul Islam Mondol formally distributed the motorcycles among the female scientists at a programme held at the institute on Monday.

Director (Support Service) Dr Shamsun Nur, Director (Oilseed Research Centre) Dr Vaggyo Rani Banik, other female scientists and officers of the institute were present at the programme.

Director General (DG) of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) Dr Rafikul Islam Mondol said, for distributing motorcycle among the female scientists, it will be easier for them to attend the research field in due time and also it will help them to concentrate more in research activities.
