Biker killed in Moulvibazar road accident

MOULVIBAZAR, Mar 10 (UNB): A motorcyclist was killed as a microbus crashed into his vehicle at Raudgaon village in Kulaura upazila on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Abed Ahmed, 38, son of late Abdul Mannan of the village.

Locals said the microbus knocked down the motorcycle of Abed while he was returning home from Amjhup Bazar around 4:00pm, leaving him dead on the spot.

Hearing the death news of Abed, a group of local people flew into rage and put on barricade on the road for two hours.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.

A case was filed in this connection with the nearby police station.
